Other research included the claims by US doctor Ted McIlvenna, who said sexually active people enjoyed their lives much more than others, and were off sick from work less than those who rarely had sex. And gynecologist Dudley Chapman claimed orgasms helped the body to fight infections, a theory later backed up by experts from the Wilkes University.
A more recent study in Australia concluded that frequent ejaculation between the ages of 20 and 50 helped to radically cut the risk of prostate cancer. This linked with other research and suggested regular male orgasms prevented painful urination in later life. All this research points to the fact that regular male ejaculation is crucial for avoiding prostate-related problems in old age. Admittedly, there is a lot of work still to be done before science can provide us with a definitive link between ejaculation and a lower risk of prostate cancer, but it is fairly obvious that a normal sex life has a positive effect on overall health.
It is crystal clear that humans were meant to have regular sex. The mind and the body tend to suffer without the combination of regular exertion and release brought about by sex and orgasms. Please do not take this as a green light to go and have sex anywhere and with anybody. There are big health dangers people need to be vigilant against. But neither should people avoid sex. Why?
